After School Care

The goal of the After School Care (ASC) is to provide a quality program that is safe, fun, and affordable. Our program offers age-appropriate activities under the supervision of a competent, trustworthy, caring, and qualified staff that understands and meets the needs of the children in our care.

To meet the physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and recreational needs of children, our program will:

  • Give our students an opportunity to unwind from school by socializing with the peers.

  • Provide snacks & drinks.

  • Offer fun recreational activities in a safe environment with experienced childcare professionals.

  • If time permits, we will provide quiet time for our students to do some homework or read books with assistance.

ISD ASC eligibility during ASC hours of operations:

  • All Children attending ISD Pre-school, elementary, and middle school.

  • Children of ISD employees, up to 6th grade.

  • Children of ISD coaches, up to 6th grade.

Please contact Jeanny Wooten at jwooten@isd.k12.in.us to register your child/ren and payments. The payment agreement will be arranged between you and Jeanny before your child/children start ASC. Check or money order made payable to ISD-Student Life. Cash payment is acceptable.

Important Note: Please notify your child’s school secretary about his/her attendance to ASC; if there is no report; it will be assumed that the child will be dismissed for home at the end of the school hour.
